You can now view your P&L broken down by
individual units
, with totals rolled up at the property level.
This makes it easier to:
  • Spot high (and low) performing units
  • Evaluate lease effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities to increase profitability
Prefer the old view? You can still group by property anytime.

Go beyond totals with the new
Income and Expenses report in Accounting
. A clearer breakdown of where your money is coming from - and where it’s going.
  • See income by category (rent, late fees, misc. charges, etc.)
  • Track expenses in detail across properties
  • Understand true net performance at a glance
Export the reports anytime (PDF or spreadsheet) and filter by specific properties or units.

You can now set
access rules specifically for the Accounting module
. This makes it easier to give your teammates the right level of visibility without opening up all your income and expense data.
To set this up:
  • Go to Teammates
  • Select a teammate
  • Grant them access to the
    Accounting
    module
  • Specify a property if needed
Please note:
  • If a teammate has access to
    "all modules"
they automatically have access the Accounting area, and no changes are needed.
  • If a teammate has
    specific module access
    (eg. only "Maintenance") they
    do not
have permission the Accounting area automatically. You will need to
    add it for them
    .

You can now create an expense directly from the
Maintenance Request details page
.
When selecting
Record as Expense
, the add expense modal will open with key maintenance request information already pre-filled, including itemized fields for
labor and hard costs
related to the repair.
This update streamlines the process of logging maintenance-related expenses, making it faster and easier to keep your property financials accurate and up to date.

We’ve launched
Portfolio Performance
, a new dashboard that helps you see how your rental properties are performing in real time.
Instead of tracking numbers across spreadsheets, you can now visualize key investment metrics directly in RentRedi from each property's
Performance tab
.
See the metrics that matter most
Portfolio Performance brings together four core real estate investing metrics:
  • Net Operating Income (NOI)
    – Rental income minus operating expenses
  • Cash Flow
    – What your property produces after mortgage payments
  • Cash-on-Cash Return
    – The return on the cash you invested
  • Estimated Equity
    – How much ownership you’ve built over time
Income and expenses automatically pull from your
rent collection and expense tracking
in RentRedi, while you can add details like
mortgage information, invested cash, and property value
to unlock deeper performance insights.
Turn rent collection into real investment insight
Portfolio Performance helps you move beyond simply collecting rent and start tracking what really matters:
  • How profitable each property is
  • Whether returns are improving over time
  • How your equity and investment performance are growing
To explore your metrics, open any property and select the
Performance
tab.

You can now
archive properties
to remove them from your active portfolio without deleting their data.
Archiving is helpful when you sell a property, stop managing it, or simply want to keep your property list clean while preserving historical records.
How to archive a property:
  • Go to the Property page
  • Click Archive (located next to Delete)
  • Please note:
only properties without current tenants can be archived!
When the property is archived:
  • The property is hidden from your main properties list
  • All units are marked inactive
  • Automatic rent charges stop being created
  • The property is excluded from Profit & Loss and Schedule E reports
If you need to "unarchive" simply go back to the property page and click the Unarchive button.

You can now archive old prequalifications or applications without notifying the applicant.
This is perfect for cases where you’ve already followed up outside of RentRedi and don’t want to trigger an extra (and potentially confusing) email through the app. Simply:
  • Log in to your RentRedi dashboard
  • Navigate to a pending prequalification or application
  • Click "Archive"
If you need to review it later, you can find the archived entry under the Rejected tab.

Now you can link bank accounts to Expense Transactions and automatically pull in withdrawals as expenses.
Here’s what happens:
  • We import withdrawal transactions from your selected bank account
  • They show up in Expenses → Needs Review
  • You review and categorize them when it fits your routine
Spend less time entering expenses by hand
  • Never lose track of money leaving your property’s account
  • Keep cleaner, more consistent records year-round
  • Your expenses are already happening. Now they’re tracked—without the extra work.
Link a bank account to get started.
With our new mileage tracking feature, you can log trips directly in RentRedi and automatically see your estimated tax deduction—all alongside the rest of your rental finances and Schedule E report.
What you can do
  • Track mileage for rental-related trips
  • See your estimated mileage deduction calculated for your records
  • Keep everything in one place, right next to income and expenses
Where to find it
You can add mileage in two spots:
